I broke a crown at the front on a Wednesday and managed to get an emergency appointment with Dr Asim Raja the following day. We agreed a treatment plan and on the Monday he started the preparation work in a 3 hour appointment! Just visited Alison the hygenist - I can’t recommend any more highly. Alison is an excellent hygenist who is very attune to a patient’s needs. As I have been suffering from a frozen shoulder, sitting in a dentist chair might not have been the best idea. However, Alison was very attentive and made sure that I was most comfortable whilst treating my teeth, even adjusting the air con so my shoulder freeze up again!

I'm a very nervous dental patient and have had to have lots of treatment recently. The whole team have been incredibly kind and patient with me, making me feel at ease and comfortable.  Unbreen has kindly seen me twice for reasurrance and Cat has been incredible in organising an external appointment at hospital that I needed. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Masud. She was attentive, friendly, and really took the time to understand my individual needs. She recommended using numbing gel for my hygienist appointment, which has made such a difference in lowering both pain and anxiety about treatment. During my visit, she was so gentle and reassuring, and I felt completely at ease in her care. I’m so grateful to have found a dentist who is both skilled and compassionate. At River Dental, Alex and Hanna are a great team. My Dental treatment with Alex went smoothly and I was made to feel quite comfortable by both of them.The entire team is very good and amiable.The River Dental practice on Stockbridge high Street has a stunning view, superb decor and above all wonderful staff to look after you, headed by Cat their practice Manager.

We had an emergency appointment with Dr. Masud after my husband was in severe pain. He’s always been extremely anxious about going to the dentist, something that’s affected him his whole life. Dr. Masud quickly identified that he needed a filling and although my husband was very nervous and made things quite challenging, she was unbelievably patient, kind, and understanding throughout.

Dr. Masud, along with Tina, made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier for both of us. Their calm, compassionate approach truly stood out and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. I had an emergency root canal on Tuesday evening with Dr. Alejandra Garcia and Hannah, the dental nurse, and it was truly amazing. At 7 months pregnant, I was a bit nervous, but they took such incredible care of me and made the whole experience feel calm and reassuring.

Not only is the toothache completely gone—with zero pain during or after the procedure—but both Dr. Garcia and Hannah stayed late for me and never once made me feel rushed. I have also never seen so many instruments. Dr. Garcia talked me through every step, answered all my questions, and made sure I was completely comfortable. Both her and Hannah were  so kind and attentive throughout.

My tooth now feels and looks completely normal—and even better - they decided a crown wasn’t necessary in my case, which was kind on my pocket.

For years I had an amazing dentist who eventually retired.  I never thought I’d never find that trust again with a dental clinic. A friend advised me to try river dental as she felt comfortable there.
This I did and am so glad I listened.  The care they take with not only my teeth but myself is amazing. I felt nervous with the latest treatment, but both Dr. Masud and Prabha made me feel relaxed, reassured and confident about the procedure. Music was good too. I would recommend them to anyone.

When my crown broke I was distraught as that tooth holds my denture!! Paul Cunningham was so understanding and did a fabulous job with scans and contact with the lab so that when the crown was replaced it was a perfect fit. I was a new patient and saw Dr Masud who was delightful and extremely good at her job.  She asked me all sorts of questions and found a whole lot of tiny holes in my teeth. I'd used River Dental for many years and having moved back into the area was delighted to be able to do so again. I've always received excellent care from Richard and the team despite my own slightly wayward dental hygiene. The treatment has always felt considered, personal and well integrated with the care provided by the rest of the practice.  I've never felt like just another patient.  I'd particularly like to highlight the role of the reception staff who are professional, courteous and efficient and make every visit a seamless experience.

I cannot recommend River Dental highly enough. I have been visiting the practice for several years now and my "old" teeth have never looked better. Richard and Alison are both excellent....professional, gentle and easy to approach.
Richard's dentistry is first class. He is very patient and explains everything clearly and in detail and answers all my questions however petty or bizarre. I trust him completely. I wasn’t looking forward to finding a new dentist after I moved from Essex where I’d found a great one  -  but I’m so glad I chose River Dental! All of the staff here are so lovely, friendly and understanding.   I had an old filling replaced today that I’d put off for a year because I was nervous for it, but Alex was so sweet and really reassured me through the whole experience. It’s such a relief to find a practice that feels like they genuinely care about their patients. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re somebody who’s a little apprehensive about dental work; the only caveat is parking in Stockbridge can be a little hit and miss but that’s no fault of the dentist, just make sure to get there early so you have plenty of time to find a parking space!

Have just had another check up.
The staff have, as always been great.
There was a time when i would have to be coaxed into a dentist and more or less held down, happily those times are gone.

If you're nervous...this is the place for you. Dentist Alex and Dental Nurse Emily recently looked after this very nervous patient and were wonderful.

Turns out I had very little to be scared about (after some cowboy like NHS treatment prior terrifying me many years back). The "big scary needle" really wasn't that bad and I felt no pain throughout the treatment. The ladies talked me through what they were doing and that really helped.

Thankyou both so much for being so gentle and kind with me.

PS the reception team are also lovely. What a great little practice. Thank you.

My first visit to River Dental and it was a pleasure which is not something you would usually say about a visit to the dentist...

Good practice, very professional however the cost for a 10min meetings seems to be very expensive north of £90! I appreciate the slot is booked out just incase you need longer but for two years now it’s be 10min/appointment and pricey.

Without the professionalism of the whole team at River Dental Clinic, starting with receptionists, doctors and surgical team with brilliant assistances, I would still be in unbearable pain now. The clinic was opened on request out of hours on a Saturday and dealt with my problem with patience while informing me of every step was taken during procedure. All I can say is a huge thank you to all at River Dental!!!

First visit with Euan was really good, friendly manner, great dentist.. River dentall doesn't look like your average dentail practice - more like the front room of a house.  Hygienist appt was equally good.  Recommended. The only odd thing is there is a still a request to wear face masks...which is a bit strange because no-one carries or wears them anymore...and within minutes you're going to be sat in a dentist chair with your mouth wide open....

Monday & Tuesday this week I had a short & then a longer appointment with Dr Richard Budworth because part of an upper tooth had broken off, leaving a small sharp area of the original tooth plus its old filling behind ...

Since going to the dentist as a child, I have always felt HUGE anxiety - but not any more!  Instead of silence & a build-up of anxiety worrying about possible treatments, I had every aspect of my problem & the way forward clearly explained by Richard.  I took part in the discussion & preparations were then made for the creation of my new tooth the very next day!

At age 71 this is the first time I have ever had an ENJOYABLE visit to a dental surgery!  Richard & his staff were so professional, kind & friendly & I have never felt relaxed visiting a dentist until now!  It was actually enjoyable! Alison the hygienist is extremely good, and unlike many in her profession, NOT a sadist! On the absolute contrary, she is very friendly with a nice gentle touch - a godsend for those of us with sensitive teeth! Couldn’t recommend her more highly. Dr Alex fixed my cracked tooth with a crown. I was initially terrified to have the procedure but it turned out I had nothing to worry about. She is a lovely lady. Made me feel very safe and told me exactly what she was going to do. I felt absolutely no pain during or after the procedure, and by later the same day, after the numbness had worn off I was back to eating again. Don’t I feel silly! After the horror of have had a tooth wrenched out of my mouth by a Winchester dentist l came to River Dental a little wounded and very nervous, from the smiley face in reception to the professionally undertaken procedure to remove another tooth in preparation for an implant, well l must say my confidence has been restored. I still need to pinch myself when l think how gentle the whole procedure was and believe me my body did not want to give up that tooth

Well done to all and l look forward to my next visit with the upmost confidence.

Brilliant! Had a molar extracted by Rachel - it's what she does and she loves her work!  A few days later, Richard made and fitted a crown for the next molar in line.  All done quickly, painlessly and I even had a coffee across the road while the crown was made. Well what can i say about Doctor Richard Budworth.  He is simply the best !!

I have moved over 30 times

Every time one  moves the worst things they miss are a good dentist. A good doctor. And a good hairdresser !!

I left Cornwall and River dental there , who had started replacing all my teeth with fabulous white ones ,
Like tv stars !

And to my absolute joy. At the end of my road was.   A River Dental. (Not the same company but strangely the same name )!

A sign . I thought !

So luckily Richard took my dreadful teeth on and finished the work .  He is truly the best dentist ever .

I have referred friends to him , all are thrilled !!!

So the team and Richard get 10 stars and, even though ive moved ,i still travel 2 hours to have my teeth done perfectly.

Please excuse the photos and only look at my teeth , i am nearly 70 so its just a good advert to have great teeth and not be afraid  to smile  at my age .

I have been going to River Dental for 5 or 6 years having become completely disillusioned with my NHS dentist. There could not be a greater difference. All suggested treatment has been well explained and perfectly executed. The staff are very friendly and there is no pressure at all to undertake procedures that are optional and not essential. However, should you want to have something purely  aesthetic done they are very willing to discuss the best option and do the work for you. As ever, my visit to River Dental this week went very well. Reception was efficient. Once I was  in the the chair Richard was his usual pleasant, thorough, reassuring and skilled self. I left very content with the treatment. Thank you to the team.
