River Dental accept referrals for OPGS using our Carestream 8100 3D machine.

Scans are offered with or without reporting from our clinicians, Dr Sunil Mangla and Dr Alejandra Garcia Loureiro. In the instance, that reporting is required, a full comprehensive diagnostic evaluation will be sent along with a fully digitalised copy of your patient’s scan.

Radiography Referrals

Please include any relevant file attachment such as radiographs, clinical notes, evidence of level 1 CBCT training. Image files must be in .JPG .PNG or .GIF no larger than 2mb each.

Reporting of Scans: (required)
I fully understand that River Dental does not report on the scans and radiographs requested by referring GDP’s, unless specifically requested to do so (at an extra cost to the patient).
I am the IR(ME)R referrer/operator. I am adequately trained to report on my patients scan.

Dentist Declaration: (required)
Confirm that you refer in accordance with published guidance criteria.
Confirm that you have fulfilled the standard education requirements in the use of ionising radiation and radiation protection and provide certification to show that you have undertaken additional training for CBCT Referrers.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I broke a crown at the front on a Wednesday and managed to get an emergency appointment with Dr Asim Raja the following day. We agreed a treatment plan and on the Monday he started the preparation work in a 3 hour appointment! On the Thursday, after some sterling work by the lab technician I was fitted with my new crowns and was able to smile again. Great work, very quick and Dr Raja was superb throughout.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just visited Alison the hygenist - I can’t recommend any more highly. Alison is an excellent hygenist who is very attune to a patient’s needs. As I have been suffering from a frozen shoulder, sitting in a dentist chair might not have been the best idea. However, Alison was very attentive and made sure that I was most comfortable whilst treating my teeth, even adjusting the air con so my shoulder freeze up again!
Further to the above, the practice receptionist is also very welcoming and efficient. What a fantastic dental clinic!
