Alex is passionate about dentistry; she decided that she wanted to become a dentist when she was a small child. She qualified in 2002 from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She worked in private practice in Edinburgh for 10 years whilst constantly updating her dental skills and knowledge and showing a strong commitment to postgraduate education. She has become a dentist with a Special Interest in Root Canal Treatment after completing a Diploma in Endodontics from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.

She genuinely cares about her patients and enjoys getting to know them in order to help them to achieve and maintain a healthy and beautiful smile.

She moved to Hampshire from Edinburgh, bringing a bit of a Scottish twang with her! She is definitely enjoying the warmer weather! In the little spare time that her two children allow her, she enjoys reading and swimming.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I broke a crown at the front on a Wednesday and managed to get an emergency appointment with Dr Asim Raja the following day. We agreed a treatment plan and on the Monday he started the preparation work in a 3 hour appointment! On the Thursday, after some sterling work by the lab technician I was fitted with my new crowns and was able to smile again. Great work, very quick and Dr Raja was superb throughout.

Alison is an excellent hygenist who is very attune to a patient’s needs. As I have been suffering from a frozen shoulder, sitting in a dentist chair might not have been the best idea. However, Alison was very attentive and made sure that I was most comfortable whilst treating my teeth, even adjusting the air con so my shoulder freeze up again!
Further to the above, the practice receptionist is also very welcoming and efficient. What a fantastic dental clinic!
