River Dental is a well-established family practice in the Stockbridge community that has been serving the needs of patients for many years.

All of our team are highly trained in patient care, expert diagnosis, treatment planning and, of course, in the provision of dental implant treatment. We truly value our relationships with referring Dentists and appreciate that you are entrusting your patients to us.

As a referring partner we promise:

We would be happy to discuss your patient’s care should you wish to contact us prior to a formal referral. We welcome visits by fellow colleagues to see our facilities and meet our team.

After the consultation has taken place, a treatment plan including timescale and costs will be sent to the patient. You will also be kept informed of the progress and any additional treatment that is required.

Meet The Dentist

Dr Sunil Mangla – Implant and Oral Surgeon

BDS (Liverpool), PG Cert Sed and Pain Management(Lon), PG Dip Oral Surgery RCSeng, MSc Imp Dent(Rome)

Sunil graduated from Liverpool University in 2001 with a degree in dental surgery and has been working as a dental surgeon for over 20 years. His main practice of dentistry is in the field of Implantology, oral Surgery, sedation and advanced restorative dentistry.

He has been actively involved in further professional training in the UK and abroad. Sunil has completed a Masters in Implantology from Italy as well as a diploma in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and a Postgraduate certificate in Sedation.

Sunil has placed well over two thousand implants throughout his career, he is highly proficient in the management of dental implants within the aesthetic zone, full mouth rehabilitation using the All on 4 or 6 treatment protocol, enabling “same day teeth”. Sunil also has extensive experience with digitally planned CT guided implant surgeries for highly precise implant positioning.

His continued passion to always keep up to date with the very latest advances and to provide the very best for his patients has led him to embark upon the exciting world of digital and laser dentistry.

His interests outside of dentistry are keeping fit, playing golf and travelling the world.

Sunil is a very friendly/approachable person and he looks forward to meeting you and giving you the smile you deserve.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I broke a crown at the front on a Wednesday and managed to get an emergency appointment with Dr Asim Raja the following day. We agreed a treatment plan and on the Monday he started the preparation work in a 3 hour appointment! On the Thursday, after some sterling work by the lab technician I was fitted with my new crowns and was able to smile again. Great work, very quick and Dr Raja was superb throughout.

Alison is an excellent hygenist who is very attune to a patient’s needs. As I have been suffering from a frozen shoulder, sitting in a dentist chair might not have been the best idea. However, Alison was very attentive and made sure that I was most comfortable whilst treating my teeth, even adjusting the air con so my shoulder freeze up again!
Further to the above, the practice receptionist is also very welcoming and efficient. What a fantastic dental clinic!
